My family adopted me 13 years ago from Cherylin’s Dachshunds in Winamac, IN. My favorite treats are frozen banana slices. My favorite sleeping spot is anywhere my mom drops the hot laundry straight out of the dryer! My best trick is after my mom calls me and I sit she says “finish” and I walk around behind her and sit in the heel position. My favorite toy is rolled up socks. My favorite pastime activity is lounging in a cushy dog bed in the sun by the patio door. My favorite place to be scratched is my back - with a back scratcher! My most memorable moment is when a Kong toy got stuck on my lower jaw and my friends at CSAH had to saw it off! One fun fact that everyone should know about me is you can see my mom and dad pushing me in a stroller down Kuhn road almost everyday! I do walk home though!
My name is Lilly, but my mom calls me Lillz. I am a 16 year old dachshund, adopted 9 years ago from a dachshund rescue. I eat…..anything! Clothes I find on the floor, paper, really anything is fair game. You can bet that if something is on the floor, I will likely try to eat it. My favorite sleeping spot is really anywhere my two doxie brothers are not---I like my space. I can find strange spots to sleep if I need to. I used to be able to sit on my hind legs for a really long time, which is tough for a dachshund! But, I've stopped doing that these past couple of years. Now I really just like to roll on my back and let the ground give it a good scratch! I don't have a favorite toy, mainly because I just eat them. So, my parents stopped buying them for me. I guess they were worried that eating toys would hurt me. I love to be scratched on my belly---good times! My most memorable moment may have been in October when they removed my bad eye! It was scary, but now I'm not in any pain!

Hello my name is Jasper but my friends call me… Jasper. It’s a great name! I’m a 12 year old male domestic shorthair. My family adopted me 9 years ago from my owner’s coworker who sadly no longer wanted me. My vet thinks that it is impossible for someone not to want me - he only says that because I’m so easy to examine. My favorite treats are Cheez-Its and catnip. My favorite sleeping spot is on my red plaid blanket on the couch. I get upset if anyone sits on my blanket! Trust me, if you saw how amazing this blanket is you would feel the same. My best trick is jumping up in the air to catch my toy balls and mice. I can bat them back sometimes. My favorite toy is my crinkle ball. My favorite pastime activity is grooming! I have to stay pretty. My favorite place to be scratched is behind the ears. My most memorable moment is when I get my wet cat food every day at 2:30 PM. Whenever I hear someone say two-thirty, I know what that means and get excited. I remember that delicious meal during my nice nap which is my second most memorable moment. One fun fact that everyone should know about me is a couple years ago, I had a fungal infection called blastomycosis. Thank you everyone at Carol Stream Animal Hospital for helping cure that condition! On a more fun note: one of my owners used to take photos of me all the time, but I learned to recognize the camera, and now I won’t stand still long enough for her to shoot the photo. If she tries to take a photo of something else, though, I have to walk in the shot. I love teasing humans.
